L.A. County sheriffs solve a 25-year-old murder case using DNA

Detectives from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department announced that they have solved a cold case dating back to the mid-1990s involving the killing of a teenage girl. Recently the suspect, who had kept out of sight, made a mistake and now, almost 25 years later, officers have made an arrest.
