Man, this mom is so cool. She works all day long outside of her home doing things for other people and then she comes home and works inside the house doing things for other people. This mom is as selfless as they come, not that anyone would ever notice, because this kind of mom is often expected to complete all these tasks with a smile on her face and a home cooked meal in her hand. This mom is all too familiar with unrealistic expectations and she is working hard to build a world where her children won’t have to put up with such a thing. This mom is freaking amazing.
The Work-at-Home, Home-School, Cook From Scratch Mom
This mom is stellar. She decides to work inside the home so that her children can have all of her time and efforts. She lives and breathes around their daily schedule and she wouldn’t have it any other way. This mom wants to kiss them goodbye in the morning and kiss them hello in the afternoon and she knows how lucky she is to have the opportunity. This mom is freaking amazing.
The Over-Tired, Run-Down, Totally Underappreciated, I Need a Nap Mom
This mom rules. She is so over-the-top tired that she closes her eyes for moments at her desk hoping her co-workers will just think she is thinking about something important. She rushes home to throw together a decent meal in minutes and has the kids bathed and ready for bed before she even takes her unbearably, uncomfortable work pants off. No one has ever asked her “how she does it all” because they are all busy “doing it all”, too. This mom is freaking amazing.
The Insecure, Pinterest-Hating, Am I Doing it All Wrong Mom
This mom is a Rock Star. Even though she is convinced that she is royally screwing up everything she trudges on amidst others that project their seemingly perfect families to the world. She brings in her store bought cookies for the bake sale and sets them down beside a three layer fondant cake in the shape of Disney’s latest creation and she turns around and drives home with her expired car seats and her cheerio covered floor mats. This mom is freaking amazing.
The Overprotective, Anxious and Afraid of Everything Mom
This mom is top-shelf. She is terrified of the outside world because her children are so precious, yet she sends them to school and to sports camps and to anything their little hearts desire because she realized they need it and deserve it more than she fears it. She sleeps very little and rests even less because every waking moment is one of fear and concern but she loves them no less for her worry. She is freaking amazing.
