Renowned model, Cara Delevingne was part of a very awkward interview for the show Good Day Sacramento. The Paper Towns star was asked several questions which made the now actress feel a bit “uncomfortable.”

People from every corner of the nation have since debated on social media if the questions Cara was asked were appropriate. John Green who is also the author of the novel defended Delevingne and believes that sexism played a key role on the sarcastic interview.

Sexism during the 21st century

On a personal blog, Green himself wrote a short post where he mentioned how Cara's costar Nat Wolff  —who is a male — gets asked questions very differently.

“I am friends with Cara, and the author of the book in question. I spent more than a month with her on tour in Europe and the U.S., and I watched as again and again, she was asked this question. Cara has read the book (multiple times), but the question is annoying — not least because her male costar, Nat Wolff, was almost always asked when he’d read the book, while Cara was almost always asked if she’d read it.”

The truth behind the irable publication is a reflection on the many women around the world who have ever been discriminated because of their gender. Cara, also voiced her opinion on social media. Take a look at her thoughts on the interview situation:
